National Account Manager – Foodservice (Remote, Ireland)

About the role
We are seeking a results‑driven National Account Manager to lead our foodservice wholesale business across Ireland. Working remotely, you will manage key accounts, drive revenue growth and act as the primary liaison between customers and our international food company.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with foodservice customers, wholesalers and distribution partners throughout Ireland.
- Create, negotiate and execute customer business plans aligned with sales and growth targets.
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution, volume, profitability and share of wallet within existing accounts.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, promotions, annual agreements and investment proposals.
- Drive successful launches of new frozen‑food products and support customer activation plans.
- Collaborate with supply‑chain, operations, finance, technical and marketing teams to deliver excellent outcomes.
- Monitor account performance, sales trends and market opportunities, adapting plans to maximise growth.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and support demand‑planning activities.
- Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events and trade exhibitions.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager or senior foodservice sales professional.
- Strong background in the foodservice sector, preferably selling frozen food products.
- Established relationships across foodservice, hospitality, catering, wholesale or distribution channels.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing pricing, margin and promotional activity.
- Skilled negotiator able to influence and build long‑term partnerships.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, customer‑facing environment.
- Strong analytical, forecasting and planning abilities.
- Full driving licence.
