About the role
The New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer will lead technical efforts to bring new orthopedic implant products into a high‑tech manufacturing environment. Working from an FDA‑registered facility, you will ensure smooth integration of innovative designs while supporting continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for NPI projects, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
- Develop and execute engineering plans aligned with growth targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Manage automation and capital‑expenditure projects, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards.
- Participate in audits, systemic improvement programs, and Key Cost to Win initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum BSc in Engineering or related field (MSc preferred).
- 3–5 years of engineering experience, including hands‑on NPI and manufacturing process integration.
- Experience with validation and process transfer in medical devices.
- Proven ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
Required skills
- Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- Project management expertise.
