Night Porter

About the role

The Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is looking for a Night Porter to join its four‑star team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager and Night Manager, you will ensure guests receive a warm, personalized welcome and that the hotel remains secure and immaculate throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, public restrooms and all public areas – vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing furniture, floors, mirrors and fixtures.
• Clean and inspect the Bar, OTB, and Toast restaurant, checking furniture for damage or stains.
• Restock supplies in lobby bathrooms and keep cleaning equipment organized.
• Remove rubbish from all public spaces and keep the front of the hotel free of litter.
• Respond to guest inquiries, provide directions and fulfil requests with a welcoming demeanor.
• Support night operations by performing additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Ensure the security of the hotel and its guests during overnight hours.

• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
