OCM Modernization Communications Specialist

About the role

Moog’s Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for an OCM Modernization Communications Specialist to lead internal communications for roughly 2,500 employees across multiple countries. Based onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will partner with the HR Director and senior leadership to create clear, engaging messages that support the group’s vision and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group’s internal communications strategy and continuously improve communication plans.
• Create, write, edit, and distribute newsletters, leadership briefings, town‑hall presentations, videos and other content that translate complex initiatives into accessible messages.
• Manage the Commercial Aircraft Group newsletter from content sourcing to regular publication.
• Oversee the CAG website content, working with IT to ensure functionality and relevance.
• Communicate key milestones, year‑end achievements and fiscal results to the employee base.
• Partner with HR to design and analyse employee listening initiatives such as surveys and polls.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to communication channels and tools.
• Align with the enterprise Communications Center of Excellence to leverage company‑wide strategies and digital resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in marketing, PR or internal communications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders and presenting information clearly.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong research skills for sourcing relevant content.
• Proven ability to build and maintain global communication relationships.
