Part Qualified Accountant

About the role

Cohesity is looking for a Part Qualified Accountant to join its Global Accounting team in Cork. You will support the month‑end close, reconcile global banking relationships, and help prepare statutory financial statements for a large portfolio of subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Correspond with vendors and employees regarding payment statuses.
• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts for 40+ subsidiaries worldwide.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Address audit findings and implement recommendations to strengthen financial controls.
• Review management accounts, working papers and FLUX analysis on a monthly basis.
• Validate balance‑sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness each month.
• Prepare statutory accounting journals in NetSuite.
• Present monthly financial data to management and provide clear explanations.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives and contribute to continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience in practice or industry.
• ACA or ACCA part‑qualified.
• Good understanding of US GAAP accounting, journal entries and accruals.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and collaborate globally.
