Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Part Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant to join our finance team at the Glenaran Group’s head office in Killarney. The role is full‑time and will involve regular visits to our retail stores, online business hub and hotel site.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end procedures, including revenue calculations, bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, KPIs and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage accounts of shipping partners and assist with VAT returns (domestic and foreign).
• Liaise with external auditors, assist audit preparation and uphold internal financial controls.
• Provide support to Accounts Payable on complex invoices and cover payroll as required.
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller and other finance staff on ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Part Qualified or Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with 2‑3 years of experience.
• Strong analytical ability, high attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent English and comfortable working in a collaborative office environment.
