Plant Director – Senior Manufacturing Leader (Dublin)

About the role

This is a high‑visibility Plant Director position for a major international manufacturing business operating 24/7 in Dublin. The role combines strategic leadership with a strong on‑site presence, driving performance through people, culture and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain, quality, safety, continuous improvement and customer service functions.
• Develop and coach senior leadership teams, fostering succession planning and talent development.
• Improve operational reliability, consistency and accountability across the site.
• Embed a performance‑driven culture that balances commercial objectives with employee engagement.
• Align operational and commercial functions to support sustainable long‑term growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plant Director, Manufacturing Director, Site Director or senior operational leader.
• Leadership style that leads from the front, builds trust, coaches teams and creates clear direction.
• Ability to operate credibly on the shop floor and at senior executive level.
• Experience in FMCG, aerospace, automotive, engineering, electronics, process or high‑volume manufacturing is valued.
