Project Manager – Wastewater Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead challenging civil projects within the wastewater sector, based in Kildare. The successful candidate will oversee contracts from pre‑commencement through to operational hand‑over, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee build‑only or design‑and‑build contracts for public and private clients in the water and wastewater sector.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including design staff, subcontractors, and support personnel.
• Provide commercial and technical guidance across civil, process, mechanical, electrical, ICA, H&S, and BIM disciplines.
• Maintain healthy client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Resolve performance, scope, cost, and schedule issues proactively.
• Develop detailed programme plans, resource‑loaded schedules, and status reports.
• Ensure consistent implementation of health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of water and wastewater industry experience, including site supervision and design.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑disciplinary projects on time and within budget.
• Strong commercial acumen, integrity, and target‑focused mindset.
