Quality Inspector

About the role

Moog is looking for a Quality Inspector to join its Carrigaline site. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the incumbent will carry out in‑process, incoming and outgoing inspections, ensuring that products meet applicable standards and are ready for customer shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect products and related documentation against standards, specifications and procedures.
• Document inspection results and communicate any non‑conformances.
• Release products for shipment by creating certificates of conformance and compiling required customer documentation.
• File and archive inspection records according to operating procedures.
• Support Production Team Leaders to meet priority targets.
• Participate in improvement activities such as LEAN and 5S.
• Assist fellow Quality Inspectors, Operators and Test Technicians as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in electronics manufacturing inspection.
• Familiarity with inspection standards such as IPC‑A‑610.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and operating procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible, positive attitude with the ability to prioritise workload.
