Repair & Maintenance Technician – Semiconductor Cleanroom

About the role

WGNSTAR is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Technician to join its semiconductor cleanroom team. You will carry out daily maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and support production to ensure high throughput while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled corrective repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, conduct root‑cause analysis and document corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports and data on equipment performance and failure mechanisms.
• Follow cleanroom protocols, wear required PPE and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Execute quality checks in line with process specifications and use MS Office and internal systems for reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Excellent organisational, time‑keeping and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse team and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Willingness to work a compressed 12‑hour shift schedule, including nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and electrical meters.
• Experience using Microsoft Office for reporting.
• Knowledge of cleanroom procedures and personal protective equipment.
