About the role
Murphy is seeking a Security Manager to join our Newbridge team. You will lead the development and implementation of security policies, protect people and assets, and embed a proactive security culture across our infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain security policies, procedures and standards.
- Produce threat and risk assessments, physical security site plans and operational procedures.
- Provide on‑site security support, advise on guarding, CCTV and other control measures.
- Manage security aspects of supply‑chain partners to ensure contractual compliance.
- Support project teams in handling protests, demonstrations and other disruptive activities.
- Lead investigations into theft, fraud, misconduct and act as liaison for Employee Relations and Legal teams.
Required profile
- Background in corporate security, military, law enforcement or a related field.
- Proven experience in security risk management, assessments and incident response.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and build relationships at all organisational levels.
