Senior Accountant – Audit, Tax & Advisory

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Dublin practice, working with prestigious clients across audit, accounts preparation, corporate and personal tax, and advisory services. The role offers a clear progression path, with promotion expected after 12 months and a long‑term career trajectory toward Director and Partner.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Deliver audit, accounts preparation, tax compliance and advisory assignments to high standards.
• Provide strategic advice and solutions aligned with best practice and firm policies.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, supporting their development.
• Collaborate closely with partners and directors to ensure client‑focused outcomes.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Practice‑trained with at least 2 years of Irish experience (0‑5 years PQE acceptable).
• Proven experience across audit, accounts preparation and tax.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with relevant accounting software packages.
• Proficiency with tax software packages.
