Senior Civil/Structural Engineer – Large‑Scale Dublin Residential Project

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to join a Tier 1 main building contractor on a landmark, large‑scale residential development in Dublin city centre. The role offers full ownership of a high‑profile project from inception through to completion, providing a unique opportunity to shape one of the capital’s most prestigious builds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and delivery of the residential development.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure seamless integration of civil and structural works.
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project schedules using Microsoft Project and monitor progress against milestones.
• Conduct site inspections, review technical documentation, and liaise with clients, authorities, and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Third‑level degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar senior engineering role.
• Experience working with a main building contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Background on high‑rise or large‑scale urban developments is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations and a proactive, results‑driven attitude.
