Senior Engineer – Site Management for ESB Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead site‑based civil and utilities works for ESB projects across Dublin. The role involves day‑to‑day management of multiple locations, ensuring safe delivery, programme adherence and compliance with ESB standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations for ESB and related utilities projects.
• Coordinate site managers, teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with ESB permits, RAMS, health and safety procedures.
• Liaise with ESB representatives and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor programme progress and report to senior management.
• Maintain quality standards and deliver works to specification.
• Keep accurate site records and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience on ESB or utilities projects.
• Proven site management experience in civil or utilities environments.
• Strong knowledge of ESB safety systems and compliance requirements.
• Relevant Irish construction or engineering qualification (advantageous but not essential).
• Valid Safepass, manual handling certification and a full clean driving licence.
