Senior Pharmacist – Permanent Full‑Time

About the role

Peamount Healthcare is seeking a Senior Pharmacist to join its pharmacy team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work onsite in the Rehabilitation Units and support the Rheumatology In‑ and Out‑Patient Service, delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Pharmacist in daily operations and strategic development of the pharmacy service.
• Provide ward‑based clinical pharmacy services, primarily within Rehabilitation Units.
• Support the Rheumatology In‑ and Out‑Patient Service with medication management.
• Offer prescribing, professional advice and medication reviews to medical, nursing and allied health staff.
• Contribute to clinical governance and continuous quality improvement in medicines use.

Required profile

• Qualified pharmacist with registration to practice in Ireland.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably in acute or rehabilitation settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and continuous professional development.
