About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join a high‑performing procurement team within a well‑established finance organisation in Dublin. The role will start immediately and offers the chance to influence strategic sourcing across key spend categories.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end procurement activities across multiple categories.
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
- Drive complex tendering processes (RFPs, RFQs) from initiation to contract award, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Analyse spend data to identify trends, savings opportunities and demand‑management strategies.
- Support budgeting and forecasting by providing procurement insights and cost analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for audit purposes.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of procurement experience with strong negotiation and contract‑management capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and lead tender processes.
- Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
- Knowledge of best practices in procurement, contract management and supplier relationship management.
Required skills
- Proficiency with procurement software.
- Experience using ERP systems.
