About the role
The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of strategically important technology and product initiatives across multiple digital product channels for a leading Irish media organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of strategic cross‑product and functional projects from discovery through release and operational handover.
- Translate product objectives into clear, achievable delivery plans across commercial, apps and publishing channels.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to align delivery plans with roadmaps and feature priorities.
- Coordinate day‑to‑day work with engineering, product design, data and analytics teams.
- Facilitate decision‑making across product and technical stakeholders, balancing scope, time and quality.
- Define and maintain plans, milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery outcomes.
- Actively manage delivery risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as needed.
- Provide concise status reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
- Manage team and cross‑team capacity to ensure realistic and sustainable delivery commitments.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Technology, Product, Editorial, Commercial and Data.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading complex technology and product initiatives in a fast‑paced, product‑led environment.
- Strong ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with senior leaders.
- Demonstrated capability to manage risks, dependencies and capacity across multiple teams.
