Senior Project Manager – Transformation Programme

About the role

The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead an internal Transformation Programme aimed at improving efficiency, standardisation and automation across its Corporate Services. You will work closely with business function stakeholders and internal technology teams to deliver change in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of the Transformation Programme, ensuring milestones, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with Business Analysis, Development and Testing teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across varying seniority levels, providing clear communication and governance artefacts.
• Produce professional written outputs such as reports, communications and decision‑making documents tailored to operational teams and senior management.
• Provide programme leadership, risk management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in managing large‑scale transformation or technology projects.
• Strong judgement, emotional intelligence and the ability to bring structure to complex delivery environments.
• Excellent written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proven stakeholder management and programme leadership capabilities.
