Senior SAP Developer – BTP, ABAP, Fiori

About the role

We are looking for a senior SAP Developer to join our IT team. The role involves designing, developing and maintaining SAP applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform, ensuring high‑quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing and deployment of SAP solutions, including customisations, enhancements and integrations using SAP BTP, ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, CAP and HANA Cloud.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle from requirement gathering to go‑live and post‑implementation support.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, conduct code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with functional teams, project managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Maintain technical documentation such as design specs, test plans and user manuals.
• Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting and issue resolution for SAP systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Several years of hands‑on SAP development experience, including RICEFW, RAP and OData.
• Minimum 2 years of experience implementing applications on SAP BTP.
• Proven track record of successful SAP project deliveries.

Required skills

• ABAP programming, including RESTful ABAP, CDS and modern extensibility.
• SAP Fiori, SAPUI5 and OData services development.
• SAP BTP tools such as Business Application Studio, SAP Build Work Zone and GIT.
• Experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA and ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
• Knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and integration technologies.
