Senior Site Engineer – Construction Projects in Galway

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to lead on‑site construction activities for a reputable Irish construction firm. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Site Manager/Project Manager and Contracts Manager and perform agreed duties.
• Ensure all works comply with specifications or approved standards.
• Accurately set out the site and structures according to programme schedules.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy across all project elements.
• Monitor and guarantee the quality of all on‑site works.
• Record and maintain comprehensive build documentation.
• Secure timely availability of resources required for project execution.
• Implement and manage Workplace Health and Safety procedures and manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction management software.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
