Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading global company’s Dublin team on a contract basis. The role sits at the intersection of technology and business, focusing on building and enhancing fraud‑detection platforms while leveraging cutting‑edge AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate scalable global platforms with high throughput.
• Author and maintain fraud‑rules within a dedicated Rules Engine.
• Integrate generative AI and large language models to enhance fraud‑detection capabilities.
• Follow architectural designs ensuring alignment with business, infrastructure, security and compliance requirements.
• Drive implementation best practices and automate processes to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience building large‑scale, high‑performance platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with fraud‑rules engines and rule authoring.
• Familiarity with AI technologies such as Generative AI and LLMs.
• Background in the financial or banking domain is preferred.
• Ability to produce high‑quality design documentation and deliverables.
