Senior Tax Advisor

About the role

We are supporting a client in Ireland to recruit a Senior Chartered Tax Advisor. The successful candidate will shape the tax service offering, ensure compliance across multiple tax regimes, and provide strategic advice to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all tax filings (Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax) accurately and on time.
• Maintain full compliance with tax reporting obligations and regulatory requirements, minimizing risk.
• Act as the primary contact for Revenue audits, managing queries, correspondence, and audit processes.
• Deliver clear, practical tax advice on a wide range of business transactions and operational scenarios.
• Research complex tax issues, produce detailed analysis, and support decision‑making.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assess their impact, and advise the business.
• Improve internal tax processes, systems, and reporting frameworks for accuracy and transparency.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (Irish Tax Institute) with at least 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, compliance, and Revenue procedures.
• Ability to research technical issues and translate findings into practical guidance.
• Self‑motivated, well‑organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
• An additional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) is a plus.
