Senior to Principal Kubernetes Engineer – Multi‑Cloud Platform

About the role

We are building a new Kubernetes and cloud engineering function in Dublin for a global software company serving health‑tech, finance, logistics and government sectors. The team will design, build and evolve large‑scale, multi‑cloud Kubernetes platforms on AWS, Azure and GCP, supporting mission‑critical SaaS products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement highly available Kubernetes platforms across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Helm and GitOps workflows.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, observability stacks and platform reliability tooling.
• Lead architecture discussions, define standards, scalability guidelines and long‑term platform strategy.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating Kubernetes in large‑scale production environments.
• Strong background in AWS, Azure and/or GCP platform engineering.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform, Helm and Linux/containerisation.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD, automation tooling, networking, security and observability for cloud native systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, highly available production systems.
