Service Technical Trainer – Dublin

About the role

Finning Ireland is seeking a Service Technical Trainer to join its Learning and Development team in Dublin. The role involves designing, delivering and managing technical training programmes for engineers and customers, ensuring alignment with Caterpillar’s Technician Career Development Programme and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the training calendar by collaborating with the Service Business Partner and subject‑matter experts.
• Develop and deliver blended learning courses for engineers across the UK and Ireland.
• Plan courses in line with Caterpillar’s TCDP, new product introductions and service specifications.
• Schedule sessions, maximise attendance and maintain training records.
• Ensure all training meets safety, inclusivity and customer‑service standards.

Required profile

• Strong experience in electric power or plant maintenance disciplines.
• Proven ability to engage learners and deliver accredited programmes.
• Excellent project‑management and organisational skills.
• Self‑starter, motivated and adaptable to a fast‑changing commercial environment.
