Site Manager

About the role

An experienced Site Manager is required to lead a large industrial fit‑out project in South Tipperary. The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring safety, quality and efficient delivery while coordinating subcontractors and maintaining strong communication with clients and design teams.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture, ensure all personnel complete inductions and briefings, develop task‑specific RAMS, maintain safety documentation and monitor compliance with regulations.
• Oversee daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials, manage site resources to minimise waste and delays, raise and manage RFIs, and keep accurate site records, reports and daily diaries.
• Carry out regular quality inspections, support environmental and quality management procedures, maintain site welfare facilities and overall site presentation, and ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and contractual variations.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of construction health & safety legislation and best practices.
• Proven experience managing fit‑out or construction projects on site.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and materials.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site programmes effectively.
• Experience in regulated or technically complex environments (advantageous).
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract documentation.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership abilities.
