Software Developer (Full Stack)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join Clio’s Engineering team in Dublin. The role focuses on building scalable web applications that power our legal‑tech platform. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment with a mix of onsite and remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails backend services.
• Implement front‑end features using JavaScript, Typescript, Angular or React.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across three countries.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize database queries and ensure system performance at scale.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and help mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience building web applications at scale.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, distributed team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
• Curiosity and drive to learn new technologies, including Ruby if not already known.
• Track record of delivering SaaS products.
