Software Engineer – Member of Technical Staff (MTS)

About the role

Salesforce is seeking a talented Member of Technical Staff (MTS) to design, build, and operate high‑quality software for its cloud services. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where engineering excellence, AI‑driven development, and innovation are core to daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications for Salesforce cloud platforms.
• Create, tune, and ensure reliability of robust APIs and API frameworks in a multi‑tenant environment.
• Build data‑intensive solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, optimizing for performance, cost, and high availability.
• Develop and maintain integrations with internal, external, and third‑party systems using event‑driven and synchronous patterns.
• Champion test‑driven development (TDD) and build CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable delivery.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools like Claude and Cursor to accelerate coding and improve quality.

Required profile

• Strong passion for building cloud‑native software at scale.
• Experience working on full software development lifecycle from design to production deployment.
• Ability to collaborate across architecture, product, and partner teams.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

Required skills
