Software Sales Account Manager – French Territory

About the role

Quest, an award‑winning IT management software provider, is looking for a results‑driven Software Sales Account Manager to lead the promotion of its Data Operations and Data Intelligence solutions across the French market. You will be responsible for generating new business through both channel partners and direct sales, targeting commercial accounts with revenues around €1 billion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Quest’s data solutions within the French territory.
• Create and execute a territory plan, including targeted account and strategic action plans.
• Manage complex, multi‑product sales cycles for large enterprises, providing accurate forecasts.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key stakeholders and local partners to drive cross‑sell opportunities.
• Schedule 15–20 client meetings per week and travel to customers, partners, and events as needed.
• Analyze market trends, monitor account performance, and report on development metrics.
• Provide feedback to product and marketing teams on client needs and market insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a sales representative in data management, software, or IT.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience managing sales through channel partners.
• Ability to achieve or exceed annual sales targets (AOP +20%).

• Proficiency with CRM and account‑management systems.
