About the role

The Data Center Engineering team is shaping the future of physical data‑center design. As a Staff Datacenter Engineer – Architectural Technical Lead you will bridge high‑level concepts with construction reality, driving innovative, efficient, and environmentally‑friendly facilities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end architectural design of mission‑critical data‑center projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, electrical, and security trades.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, construction‑ready design packages.
• Guide external architect/engineering vendors and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Develop infrastructure improvements and act as the subject‑matter expert for cooling, power, and other specialty systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 + years experience in mission‑critical facility design and construction.
• 6 + years as a Licensed Architect (e.g., ARB, RIBA).
• 6 + years architectural design experience at an architecture, engineering, or construction firm.
• 6 + years experience working with external Architect/Engineering vendors on data‑center design.
• Preferred: Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from an accredited university.
• Preferred: 6 + years using Autodesk ACC for architecture/life‑safety design and coordination review.
• Experience with cross‑discipline teams and medium‑voltage systems.
