About the role

Corlann – West Region is seeking a Staff Nurse or Enhanced Nurse to join its BEO Adult Services in Knocknacarra, Co. Galway. The role involves providing person‑centred nursing support to adults with intellectual disabilities, helping them achieve independence and a valued life in the community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide key‑worker support and advocacy for adults with intellectual disabilities across all aspects of daily life.
• Promote independence and skill development tailored to each individual’s abilities.
• Deliver nursing care in residential, respite, day‑centre or community‑based settings, including visits to individuals’ homes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure person‑centred services.
• Adapt care plans flexibly to meet changing needs of service users.
