Staff Nurse – Hospital at Home Team

About the role

The Hospital at Home Team in Fife provides acute medical care for frail elderly patients in their own homes, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions and supporting early discharge. We are seeking a motivated Staff Nurse to join our established team in Cupar.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective acute medical care to patients in their homes.
• Perform routine clinical interventions and respond promptly to urgent care needs.
• Travel across the service area to provide timely care.
• Work flexible shifts covering 08:00‑22:00 across a 7‑day roster.
• Collaborate with other team members and support cross‑team service requirements.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with relevant experience in acute or community care.
• Ability to work autonomously and make independent clinical decisions.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude toward shift patterns.
• Willingness to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
