Tax Analyst – Corporate & Property Tax (Hybrid, Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Analyst to join a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven public sector organisation that is expanding its tax function. Based in Dublin 2, the role operates on a hybrid model and reports to senior finance leadership, focusing on Irish corporation tax, VAT and property‑related taxes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file VAT, RCT and other tax returns accurately and on time.
• Provide tax support and guidance across multiple business functions.
• Support tax process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Assist with audits and maintain robust tax documentation.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, IT and Development teams to strengthen compliance processes.
• Liaise with external advisors on tax compliance matters.

Required profile

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification.
• 2–4 years of tax experience in practice or industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish tax legislation, particularly VAT.
• Experience or exposure to real‑estate tax matters such as RCT, stamp duty and capital allowances is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly.

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong competence with tax/accounting systems.
