Tax Manager – Advisory & Compliance

About the role

The firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its tax advisory and compliance team. Reporting to the Tax Partner, the role will lead a small team and serve a portfolio of SME clients across all tax areas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients, delivering both compliance and consultancy projects.
• Develop and maintain client relationships while expanding an external professional network.
• Assist the tax group with work‑in‑progress monitoring, billing and fee collection.
• Collaborate with Partners, Directors and Managers on tax consultancy engagements.
• Liaise with other departments to identify tax planning opportunities for existing clients.

Required profile

• Qualified tax professional and/or qualified accountant.
• Strong working knowledge of all tax heads.
• Prior managerial experience at assistant manager or manager level.
• Proven ability to manage and develop junior staff.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
