About the role
Xeinadin is seeking enthusiastic Trainee Accountants to join its Clonakilty team for the 2026 cohort. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience across all accounting departments, client interaction from early stages, and a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Compile management accounts, produce management reports and perform bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare and process payroll for clients.
- Liaise with banks, legal firms, Revenue and other professional advisers.
- Prepare VAT returns and other statutory filings.
- Attend client premises and communicate professionally with external clients.
- Support senior staff and ensure work is completed to high technical standards and within deadlines.
Required profile
- Achieved at least a 2.1 in accountancy or a related business degree.
- Minimum 420 points at Leaving Cert level (or equivalent).
- Motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Enthusiastic about developing an accounting career.
