About the role
The Lunch Bag, Ireland’s leading school meals provider, is seeking a Transport Administrator to support its national transport function. Working from the Nenagh headquarters, you will act as the central hub for data, documentation, and communication, ensuring smooth overnight lunch deliveries and fleet compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain transport spreadsheets, including delivery data, manifests, timesheets, insurance renewals, motor tax records, and operational reports.
- Update the Monday.com vehicle database and keep accurate van allocation lists.
- Coordinate driver‑to‑vehicle assignments, route planning, and real‑time changes.
- Liaise daily with night supervisors, transport coordinators, and the payroll department.
- Administer toll tags, fuel cards, diesel accounts, and monitor usage against records.
- Track renewals for insurance, motor tax, and vehicle documentation, ensuring GDPR and audit compliance.
- Support the Transport Manager with van planning, route amendments, and driver allocations.
Required profile
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Patience, problem‑solving ability, and a collaborative team attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (and broader Microsoft Office suite).
- Experience using Monday.com or similar workflow tools.
