VAT Manager (APAC/Australia)

About the role

Anrok is seeking a VAT Manager to lead GST/VAT compliance for its APAC and Australian operations. Based in Dublin, you will act as the subject‑matter expert on tax registration, rate determination and filing obligations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Advise internal teams and customers on GST registration requirements and compliance obligations in Australia and other APAC markets.
• Train and support the tax operations team to ensure accurate VAT filings for Anrok and its clients.
• Collaborate with product teams to address e‑invoicing mandates, fiscal representation, and country‑specific filing challenges.
• Handle customer implementations and escalations related to APAC tax compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into actionable guidance for the business.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in GST/VAT compliance.
• Current registration with the Australian Tax Practitioners Board as a Tax Agent or BAS Agent, with authority to lodge BAS returns.
• Relevant Australian tertiary qualification (degree or postgraduate award in accounting) or Certificate IV in Financial Services plus TPB‑approved taxation law courses.
• Strong knowledge of VAT registration, filing and reporting requirements.
• Based in Dublin with the right to work in Ireland.
