Mechanical Engineering Expert for AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Expert to help train the next generation of AI models. Working remotely, you will create and evaluate complex engineering problems that directly shape AI reasoning in areas such as fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, and mechatronics.

Key responsibilities

• Design multi‑domain engineering challenges covering FEA, heat transfer, kinematics, material science, and mechatronics.
• Author precise, step‑by‑step ground‑truth solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning.
• Audit AI‑generated technical outputs—including CAD logic, thermodynamic proofs, and material specifications—for accuracy, safety, and compliance with standards like ASME and ISO.
• Identify logical errors in AI reasoning (e.g., incorrect force distributions, energy‑conservation violations) and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.

Required profile

• Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing processes.
• Excellent written communication of complex physical phenomena.
• Highly precise with mathematical derivations, unit conversions, and system constraints.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.
