Process Technician – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a Process Technician to join our cutting‑edge medical technology team in Galway. The role is night‑shift based and offers the chance to work closely with a small, collaborative group of technicians and production core teams across several key processes.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance and escalate complex problems to Engineering or Maintenance.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to investigate scrap and yield problems, driving improvements in process performance.
• Record maintenance activities in internal systems, prepare yield updates in PowerPoint and manage handovers using Teams and Excel.
• Use SQL databases (training provided) to extract equipment data and optimise performance.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards in all tasks.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability and a proactive attitude.
• Team‑player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new tools and systems.

Required skills

• Electrical or mechanical troubleshooting (advantageous).
• SQL (training will be provided).
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience using Microsoft Teams for collaboration.
