Entry Level Personal Lines Direct Sales Agent (Hybrid)

About the role

Zurich Insurance’s Centre of Excellence in Wexford is seeking an entry‑level Personal Lines Direct Sales Agent to join the Direct New Business team. The role focuses on selling home, motor and van insurance products directly to customers over the phone in a target‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on quotations and close sales of Zurich home, motor and van policies via phone.
• Work towards monthly sales targets and earn a competitive bonus for meeting or exceeding them.
• Identify and develop inbound calls that have high conversion potential.
• Cross‑sell additional products and arrange follow‑up calls for future opportunities.
• Retain existing customers and meet renewal retention goals.
• Spot upsell opportunities and promote additional policy benefits.
• Build strong rapport with both potential and existing customers.

Required profile

• Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
• Good IT proficiency, particularly with MS Office applications.
• Minimum Leaving Certificate qualifications (2 H5’s or higher) and a third‑level qualification (at least level 6).
• Completion or ongoing study of CIP and/or ACII qualifications is desirable.
• Previous experience in a sales or target‑driven environment.
• Strong negotiation abilities and a focus on achieving targets.
• Enthusiastic, professional, flexible and self‑motivated.
• Attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and follow through.
