About the role

The Hillgrove Hotel & Spa is seeking a dedicated Accommodation Assistant to ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role is essential for delivering a welcoming environment and supporting overall guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and keep guest supplies stocked.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
• Report maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department promptly.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Assist guests with inquiries or requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar hospitality role (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
