Account Manager – Cork Region

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee and grow a portfolio of existing clients in the Cork region. The role combines relationship building with strategic commercial support to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and strengthen relationships.
• Act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, supporting their business objectives.
• Conduct regular business reviews using performance data and market insights to uncover growth opportunities.
• Deliver tailored commercial solutions that maximise value for clients and the business.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Lead commercial discussions and negotiate effectively with decision‑makers.
• Promote adoption of products and services that enhance client performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in account management, business development or a similar client‑facing commercial role.
• Proven track record of managing and growing key customer accounts while meeting revenue targets.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Ability to analyse performance data to inform commercial recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑driven with a consultative sales approach.
