Assistant Night Manager

About the role

The Montenotte, a luxury urban resort hotel in Cork, is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to support night‑time operations and ensure a seamless, high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all night‑shift staff, ensuring adherence to hotel standards, policies and procedures.
• Conduct briefings for night‑shift teams, communicating arrivals, VIP guests, special requests and repeat visitors.
• Welcome guests, verify accommodations, and escort them to rooms when required.
• Act as manager on duty, handling complaints, disturbances, special requests and any issues that arise.
• Coordinate Front Office activities with other departments and oversee night‑shift tasks across all areas.
• Maintain clean, tidy public areas and provide assistance with luggage as needed.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently during night hours.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a professional demeanor.
• Experience in hospitality or hotel operations is preferred.
