Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the role

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full‑time, on‑site senior leadership position based in Limerick. Reporting to the senior team, the COO drives day‑to‑day operational excellence and ensures that residential development projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project delivery activities across all residential developments.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Manage cross‑functional teams and optimise operational processes.
• Align operational priorities with the company’s strategic growth plans.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with public and private partners.
• Implement performance metrics, identify operational risks and opportunities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

Required profile

• Strong business planning and strategic leadership experience.
• Proven operations management capabilities in construction or property development.
• Robust analytical and finance/budgeting skills.
• Extensive experience in residential housing projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work with public and private stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in business, engineering, construction management or related field.
• Track record of building high‑performing teams and promoting safety and quality.
