Commercial Manager – Transportation

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join its Transportation team in Dublin. You will work closely with the Commercial Director, Assistant Commercial Directors and operational teams to ensure that bids and projects are commercially robust from inception through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide risk and commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle, supporting performance assessment and business development.
• Prepare and deliver commercial reporting and forecasting in partnership with finance.
• Manage change control processes, assessing commercial implications and updating risk registers.
• Apply contractual mechanisms, prepare cost engineering quotations and negotiate agreements.
• Participate in client progress and change control meetings, capturing and monitoring programme changes.
• Oversee internal reporting, including Earned Value Management and financial reporting of commercial performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial management within large‑scale transportation or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, risk management and financial forecasting.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders.
