Community Nurse – Night Shifts in Galway

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Community Nurse to join our paediatric team in Furbo, Galway on night shifts. As a member of BAYADA you will deliver personalised, child‑centred care in the home environment, supporting families and ensuring children feel safe and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to paediatric patients in the community during night hours (Monday‑Sunday).
• Assess, plan and implement care plans that promote safety, comfort and independence.
• Collaborate with families, multidisciplinary teams and on‑call support to address complex care needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.
• Respond to emergencies and provide 24/7 on‑call support as required.

Required profile

• Qualified as RCN, RGN or RNID and registered with the NMBI.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship.
• Experience in paediatric or complex care settings.
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, person‑centred nursing practice.
