Construction Manager – Grid Integration

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Construction Manager to join its Grid Integration business in Dublin. Working on complex industrial and EPC projects, you will coordinate construction activities, ensure safety and quality, and help deliver projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with the project quality plan, technical specifications and schedule.
• Plan and organise construction tasks to optimise resources and meet project milestones.
• Review drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor availability and utilisation of materials, equipment and manpower to align with the construction programme.
• Ensure all works meet health, safety, environmental requirements and company policies.
• Provide leadership to site teams, setting clear goals and ensuring consistent adherence to procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role on complex industrial, infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, site coordination and resource planning.
• Experience leading teams and managing subcontractors.
• Ability to work in a structured way, manage priorities and resolve site‑related issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
