Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all on‑site construction activities, ensuring health and safety, quality control, and efficient logistics. Working closely with the Project Manager, the role focuses on meeting production targets while minimizing rework.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) systems and procedures on site.
• Plan and manage site set‑up, security, logistics, deliveries and traffic flow.
• Supervise subcontractors, forepersons and site personnel to achieve project milestones.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to sequence finishing trades for optimal quality.
• Monitor resources, labour, plant, site set‑up and overhead costs.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of site management experience in commercial, industrial, residential, fit‑out or refurbishment projects.
• Proven ability to manage HSEQ systems and large‑scale site logistics.
• Strong leadership and employee‑relations skills.
