Construction Planner – Dublin

About the role

Conack, one of Ireland’s fastest‑growing construction firms, is seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join its Dublin team. You will support the delivery of high‑profile, multi‑sector projects by developing and maintaining robust construction programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and update construction programmes and project schedules using industry‑standard tools.
• Monitor progress against target programmes and critical paths, producing weekly and bi‑weekly progress reports.
• Conduct site visits to verify actual progress and assess programme performance.
• Develop detailed, resourced programmes for project delivery and manage subcontractor sequencing.
• Support tender planning, pre‑construction methodologies and assist with extensions of time and compensation claim programmes.
• Collaborate with site teams, Contracts Managers and senior management to identify and implement recovery plans.
• Contribute to planning for alternative construction methods such as modular and precast systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Planner or in project planning within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, critical path analysis and reporting.
• Experience delivering construction projects in Ireland.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
