Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large‑scale civil and building projects across Kerry. You will oversee every phase from planning through handover, collaborating closely with clients, design teams, subcontractors and internal staff to deliver high‑profile developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of infrastructure or building projects on multiple sites.
• Coordinate design development, RFI cycles and client workshops to maintain design quality and timelines.
• Manage project budgets, schedules and resources, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental and quality standards on‑site.
• Motivate and lead site teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing civil or construction projects in Ireland.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Desirable: trade qualification, practical site experience, design management experience, contract negotiation and commercial management knowledge.
