Construction Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large‑scale construction programmes for our Kerry‑based client. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to completion and handover.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, engineers and design consultants.
• Coordinate design development, RFIs and technical workshops.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets and key milestones.
• Prepare weekly work schedules and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and stakeholders; chair site and management meetings.
• Promote a strong health, safety, environmental and quality culture.
• Work closely with commercial teams to achieve project objectives and resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or trade qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or civil engineering.
• Previous progression from a Senior Engineer role.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost‑management experience.
